It's been some time since I began my Aglarond campaign, and since then, I had litte need to use the Star Elves and all their background for my campaign. But anyway, even if my players are eager to keep themselves out of any planar adventure, I think it should be a good idea to learn everything possible about Star Elves.
I have made many homebrew maps, cities and characters for my campaign (even the whole government system from scratch, reading some books about elven societies), but I want to know if any of you knows any official source about Yuireshanyaar and Sildėyuir. Sildėyuir is as big as Yuirwood, yet there is little info about it in Unapproachable East; and Yuireshanyaar is not even mentioned in Lost Empires of Faerūn. Even if homebrew material is suitable (and good) for any game, I want to know if there's any official lore about these kingdoms, other than the little information given on those two books.

I looked in the old 2e Spellbound Boxed set, but then realized that Star Elves are a 3E invention.

| I was not a fan of the Twilight Tomb adventure... In my opinion, it felt like someone repurposed a sci-fi adventure for it. |

Heh. I thought it was a rather well-tailored adventure for Sildėyuir, actually.
Not that I've used it, since I usually don't make use of published adventures. But I've borrowed from some of the material and locations referenced in the tome.

| The novel Stardeep also took place in or near Sildėyuir? It is manned by star elves belonging to Keepers of the Cerulean Sign organization (first introduced in Lords of Madness (3.5) I believe. And since that novel foreshadowed the 4e Abolethic Sovereignty trilogy, I would not be surprised if they also had at least tidbits of lore about star elves (though I have not read them yet). HERE is a little bit of info on the dungeon of Stardeep itself, pulled from the novel. |

| -If you want, PM me, and I'll send you the information I have on all three cities that was researched for Elves of Faerūn. The 'Elven Cities and Settlements' chapter was never published, because there's so much information out there, and I didn't want to put out an incomplete product, so all of the information I have for the three above-named places never made it into any published .PDF files. I have about ten-fifteen MS Word pages for the three. |
