I have a notation on Markustay's
map of the North in the Arn Forest,
and I can't for the life of me, find
out what was there I wanted to mark.
Does anybody remember anything discussed
about the Arn?

Also, I have something just east of
Molumne (or whatever the spelling) Cave,
anybody recall anything there?

I know there's a gnomish village named Graevelwood, in the eastern part of the Arn Forest.

East of Morueme's Cave is the Doomspire, but I don't yet know what it is, save that it's east of Dragondoom Mountain, neighbouring it more than it neighbour's Morueme's Cave.

Doomspire is a Hobgoblin village.

Damn shame I lost that Nentir Vale conversion map - it turned into a new and greatly improved (better looking and more detailed) map of the Silver Marches, which I was hoping to eventually turn into a new map of The North.

Ah, well.

Um, Nentire Vale? Did you do a map of a smaller part of
the north and lose it? Whats wrong with the one still
at Deviantart?

Thats the old one - I was working on a newer one, which I started using just as reference (it had ALL the locales on it), because 80% of the way through I decided it wasn't good enough and started all over.

The Nentir Vale conversion was a masterpiece, if I do say so myself. I gave up on all the old 3e terrain and lifted the textures from the wonderful Nentir Vale map, and built outward from there. I used Nentir Vale as a '4e version' of Delmbyr Vale, and it was an amazing fit (several roads even lined-up!)

It didn't detract from previous FR lore at all, merely added to it. I was looking at it as a kind of 'spiritual conversion' as well, helping to marry newer, 4e material to the old campaign setting we loved.

Alas, like Lot's Wife, my indiscretion obviously 'angered the gods', and my map was turned into a pile of ash.

Either that, or I left something plugged-in.....

The only maps I made that still exist are the ones on DeviantART (click my sig), or the few here at the 'Keep, and a couple of odds & ends floating around on the web (that I may or may not have given them permission to use). I know my first map - Evermeet - is in the Elven Netbook by Lord Karsus.

Too bad I never posted the K-T map anywhere - it was only 5 settlements from completion for over 2 years.... damn my ADD.

I did back a lot of stuff up, on a second comp, USB drives, and some discs.... that doesn't help when they were all in the same room when the house burnt down. live and learn.

I can't believe my OGB is gone forever....
