Hey all, I decided that since many folks on here live in the great state of Washington; I would come and ask a question of those living there (hope this is ok oh Mods of Might).

My wife and I are wanting to move from Virginia to Washington, but I'm not sure of where.

Here is what I would like: low crime rate, 4 or 5 bedroom (prefer 5) at about $1,300 a month (yeah, I'm wishing perhaps). I don't want to buy at this time because we plan to build new instead later.

When I moved back here to VA for a while, my wife and I had contacts here; and we have some in WA as well, but I just want to use every resource possible.

I won't clutter up the boards here; but if anyone has any clues they can drop me in a private message, it would be greatly appreciated.

The Old Grey Box and AD&D for me!

Did you ever get the info you needed, Dalor? I don't have what you need, but I wish you the best of luck. And welcome to WA!

This LINK may aid you in your query. Also, you may consider living in Northern Oregon (no Sales Tax!) or Western Idaho. I live in Salem, Oregon and it was only a 5 hour drive (with stops for the wife and little one) to get to PaizoCon this year.

We did get the information we needed...however, I've decided to finish school here in VA before moving to WA.

I miss WA badly, but financially we are better staying here (with in-state rates for school and such) than moving to WA.

Thanks though guys! See ya in a couple years.
