Good answer, Ezindir! I think Signal-9 was just about to call in the Software Piracy Police |

God how I hate CD-keys. Their so goddamn easy to disrupt/lose!
The last time I bought a game I almost destroyed the CD-key, even! The key was on the manual, and the genious that put it there figured that it would be a great idea to print it with some sucky ink that went off if you tutched it with your fingers. When I got home and discovered that (I had the Manual in my pocket, 'cuz I was waiting for the buss, and wanted something to read on) 6 numbers were GONE! THAT'S 1.000.000 different combinations!!!
Luckily, upon very close inspection, I was able to interpret 4 of the numbers, so it was narrowed down to 100... but I made it on the 10'th thry! Strange thing, that. |

I solved that problem by tattoing the keys to my software on my arms. Kidding, of course. But I do know what you mean. when they print keys in manual I always flip because I am always afraid I will lose the manual or accidently throw it out. Also, on the no manual things, that seems to be happening with a lot of games lately, particularly rereleased games.

Go to your NWN directory. There sits a file called "nwncdkey.ini." It records all your CD-keys, original and expansion packs alike. |
