Starting The Parched Sea later today.
Not me, I enjoyed seeing them get what was coming to em. |

| Finally got, and read Shadowrealm, pretty happy with it, thought it was a worthy ending to the trilogy. |

The Only series I've read in entirety are Icewind Dale and the Dark Elf Trilogy (both of which I read when I was in the Army, which was a looong time ago). I've recently (and only b/c they were written by Ed) started reading both the Elminster series (having finished Elminster in Myth Drannor) and the Knights of Myth Drannor series (having finished Swords of Dragonfire). I always feel like I should read more of the novels, but when I have the extra scratch to buy new books, I tend to spend it on gaming supplements, rather than fiction. |

| Finished The Parched Sea yesterday and was pleasently surprised. Apart from Troy Denning's habit of having as few chapter breaks as possible (1 in this book), which is a pet peave of mine, I really enjoyed it. Started The Curse of the Shadowmage last night and liked the first three chapters. |

Currently reading "The Shield of Weeping Ghosts" by James P. Davis. I really enjoyed the first 3 of the Citadel novels and so far am enjoying this one as well. I'm about a 3rd of the way in and I like the feeling of the story.
This is number 57 for me :) |

the Parched sea was indeed a good read and went in a different direction than I originally thought. If your liked this one, should may want to check out the other harper novels that include Ruha. She also makes appearances in the the RotAW trilogy and I believe a short story or two. |

Thanks for the advice. Although I haven't read it yet, I know she's also in Crucible: The Trial of Cyric the Mad. I've get them all on my shelf, but I'm doing my best to read as many of the books in chronological order as I can. |

I finished Curse of the Shadowmage a couple of days ago. Although I've read a lot of bad reviews about both this book and Crypt of the Shadowking, I really enjoyed both of them. Other than the fact that the endings were somewhat weak in both they kept me entertained throughout.
I also just finished Beyond the Moons, which is the first book in The Cloakmaster Cycle set in the Spelljammer setting. The only reason I decided to pick up these books is because (although it's a Spelljammer book) the second in the cycle (Into the Void by Nigel Findley) takes place in the Forgotten Realms. Therefore I consider it a FR book. Beyond the Moons took place on Krynn, so I guess that makes it my first Dragonlance book as well. The visit to the Realms takes place in 1361 DR, so it fits chronologically after Shadowmage. I'll be spending my next 5 books with Spelljammer and then I'll return to the Realms with Elfshadow (Thanks for the recommendation Swifty). |

| I know I'm way behind the times on these, but I just finished the second book in the first Erevis Cale Trilogy, yay. And today, the mailman dropped off a box containing the second book of Blades of the Moonsea, Corsair (and the Player's Handbook 2, but I digress). |
My Realms novel, Sandstorm, is now available for ordering. |

Yeah, I was fond of Temple Hill myself. |

Strangely enough Temple Hill didn't work for me at all, it is one of the few books I never finished. But then again, that was about the time I stopped following the novels, so it might just have been a question of general burnout.
I loved Curse of the Shadowmage and Crypt of the Shadowking (and the old Denning novels for that matter)though, at least when I read them about ten years ago. |

I find myself wanting to know more about Kellen and the Shadowstar. Does anyone know if there's any lore out there about them?
Thanks. |

Working from faulty memory here. There's a few titbits in Heroes Lorebook for 2ed. but little that's not mentioned in the books themselves. I think there's a brief mention of the main characters in Code of the Harpers also. Except for that I cant think of anything. |

Perhaps ask him directly in his scroll... Although, I seem to recall Richard mentioning somewhere that it can be read in any order in conjunction with the trilogy. |
