Hi there, long time reader, first time poster. I had been scouring sourcebooks for a while now, and still have hardly seen anything but naming mentioned to much as pertains to druids, their rituals and the like. What I was wondering, is if there was anything anywhere that details various druidic rituals (Like the Call of Oak, Ash, Thorn; Song of Trees; Dryad Dance; Thorncall; Wild Ride; etc.), specifically Silvanite, Malarite, and Mielikkian. Thanks.

Divine rituals, and rituals attributed to druids, have never received much in the way of lore in FR canon. Ed shares what he can in his replies here at Candlekeep (see Kuje's compiled files at his URL)... but for the most part, we have very little to work with.
The most we have are the ritual names... mentioned in entries for the various FR druidic deities. There's a few tidbits in novels that have dealt with druidic deities and in the sourcebooks as well.
You could try asking Ed specifically about a particular ritual for a druidic deity... and seeing what he can share.

Yup,
As Sage said they weren't detailed in canon. TSR wouldn't do it for "religious reasons" and WOTC won't or doesn't want to do it. |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Of course... we all keep hoping Ed will one day finally be allowed to publish what he's hinted at about divine rituals previously...
But as it is now, and with WotC current standing... there is a very very large gap between hope and reality in this case .

Warriors and priests of the realms covers the druid, to some extent, and provides information on druid groves. It's 2E, but all that I am aware of. |

Thanks for the replies. Guess I'll ask Ed and see what he has to say and pray that there's no nasty NDA hanging around. |

I've incorporated a few of the briefly listed rituals of Silvanus into a campaign, but was definitely winging it and would love to also see more information on any of these.
