In the up to date timeline from “Players Guide to Faerun” they make plenty of references to big realm shaking events such as Lolth’s silence and the Shades returning. Has any official source material made references to “The Rage of the Dragons” sweeping through Faerun. There is a small quest in WOTC website, dealing with raging dragons in Undermountain but that seems to be it. “Champions of Ruin” had a large section devoted to The Cult of the Dragon, but made no reference to the Rage. I’d just like to see that neat event set in stone and made part of Faerun’s official history.

Not to mention two short-story anthologies and one stand-alone novel. |

And some Dragon short stories. :) |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

I've only had a short glimpse at it, but I believe the Return to Undermountain Web Enhancment deals with Undermountain during the Rage.
Funny that, an web enhancement for a web feature |

Also, the upcoming Dragons of Faerun sourcebook will cover it in detail in game terms. |

Between novels and sourcebooks, I think everyone will be pretty well informed about the whole series of events. |

Thanks for the replies.
I've so far read every novel dealing with the Rage from: Realms of Dragons 1 and 2, Rage, Rite (waiting for Ruin) and Queen of the Depths. I'm just curious if any official realms material has refered to the Rage. I'm hoping Dragons of Faerun will cement this catastrophic event in the timeline. |

Novels are 100% official canon game material as are the short stories in Dragon. And in the case of novels, they have been since the start of the printed setting back in 1987, except for the articles in Dragon that came before the first novel and sourcebook. |

Indeed.
So long as you have access to the resources mentioned so far and the novels themselves TwigB you've pretty much got all the past and current canon details there are for the Rage in FR.
