Hey All. I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but here goes.
I've taken the tremendous undertaking of inputing all the spells in the SRD into a MySQL database.
I've written the program and have it set up to show the short description of a spell. Click the link and it will give you a full description.
Aside from the SRD I plan on adding all Open Source Spells people want put into the database. If you go to my website and go through the menu's (if you have problems update to the newest version of your browser). It will be under D&D/d20 -> spells. the direct link is http://shike.frih.net/dnd/spells/
I apologize to the moderators if this isn't the proper place for this kind of announcement.

| Interesting. when I typed in a spell though, some the wording overlapped, causing difficulty in reading the results in the inquiry. I liked the reference to the sourcebook portion at the end of each spell entry. |

| Scererar - Actually the "source" at the end of each entry will, hopefully, begin to contain names and email addresses as well. As people begin to submit spells to add to the database. |

I will check it out some more and if I still have the same issue, I will PM you. Sounds like it might be my system |

Haven't gotten that far yet. I am currently in the C's. I have to format as I enter (in html) which is taking a bit, as well as the descriptions for longer spells actually encompas 3 fields within the database (due to size). I currently only have 70 (+- a couple) spells entered. It is slow going, especially since I don't have internet at home (24 wireless coffee shop and a 1 yr old.) So the only time I get to use the net is late at night, and then I only get a couple of hours. But try searching for things like (sorcerer in Casting Class/Spell Level, etc.) |

This is actually a problem with Internet Explorer. I get the same problem at work. I suggest either upgrading to the current beta version of IE, or switching to Firefox/Opera. At home I use Safari (I use and love my Mac), and at work I use Firefox (latest version). Unfortunately IE is generally behind the others in support. |
