a Demon of Deceit and Corruption in the forgotten realms. I need one in my current campaign. Any ideas where to find info about it or even a name of "THE ONE Demon Prince of Deceit" maybe?!?!
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and help.

Im not exactly sure what your asking here
Are you refering to the Fiend of Corruption PrC in Fiend folio or are you after a Demon Lord of Corruption?

Fraz-Urb'Luu is the Demon Prince of Deception, although Grazz'zt has a history in the Realms and is known for seduction and corruption. Heck, he even seduced Kostchtchie (long story). Malcanthet is the Queen of Succubi, which would lead to seduction, which would lead to corruption (potentially).
But Fraz-Urb'Luu is THE demon prince of deception. |

How about Gargauth? He is a deity now, though, but he used to be a Demon Lord. |

Soneilon or Grazz´zt are my two good votes.
But Gargauth is a "good" candidate, too! |

I would vote Grazzt too, he is supposed to be the "seductive" demon lord (just look at the Thrall of Grazzt prestige class)
And Gargauth is a Devil not Demon, he was a Lord of the Nine until Asmodeous "banished him" and he became a free agent until he discovered by eating the sould of greater devils he could reach godhood |

Might I suggest the balor Wendonai? Wendonai is a fiend of corruption. Once a favored of Lolth, Wendonai was instrumental in the fall of the dark elves. See Lost Empires of Faerûn.
Another entity to consider is Tyranthraxus. See The Villains Lorebook www.wizards.com/dnd/files/2/fr_downloads/tsr9552.zip for some more details. He was once worshipped as a god. Not a demon per se. Although it is suspected that he might be or once have been a unique yugoloth lord (an altroloth perhaps). He possibly has ranks in the Fiend of Posession PrC.
Actually, come to think of it, in light of what we have learned from Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss, Tyranthraxus could easily be some kind of Loumara. He might have started out as a Guecubu; the description of the Guecubu in FCI overlaps quite nicely with the stats for Tyranthraxus in Villains Lorebook. I don't know if there are any Loumara lords, but Tyranthraxus might have been one in the past.
Of course, his LE alignment is somewhat at odds with that theory. However, he could certainly have changed his alignment over the ages. Maybe that would explain why he no longer dwells in the Abyss. Heck, he might have changed his alignment as a consequence of bowing down to Bane.
Now if you strictly need a Demon Prince, then I would vote for Graz'zt myself. He is a smooth operator that one. And he has a very strong history in the Realms. Check out this link to download the 2E adventure "For Deity & Duty" which contains extensive info about Graz'zt and his doings in the Realms: www.wizards.com/dnd/files/2/fr_downloads/tsr9574.zip |
