Here's what might be a neat tidbit. Perusing the Lands of Intrigue sourcebook, I noticed that the old name for the Forest of Mir is "Darthiir Wood". The drow's term for surface elves and traitors is "darthiir" (from the Drow of the Underdark sourcebook.)

Neat. I was harvesting magical lore from the Lands of Intrigue sourcebook just yesterday. Thanks for the info.
