I encounter some problems with the submit button in this guestbook. Sometimes it dont work, sometimes it does... Anyway... Hey thats me the great and the only ElMo (nothing to do with ElMo in Sesame street, we have nothing in common, except for this film Elmo in grouchland but me its ElMo in dungeonland or Weedland!) So... whats happening here at Candlekeep, does candlekeep have update his site for the third edition of ADD? In fact Im not very interested in the third edition, it will make too changes in my campaign, and I dont want to give another 200$ for the new crap that TSR is sending to the Dungeon players. So no way... Dungeon is not what it was when I began to play. But what movement, if I can call this that way, pretend to didnt have changes in the past years. The world is not what it was 10 years ago. So keep playing dungeon in the way you want, but dont kill the old-fashionned way. Well I think I said my message so Ill post this little complain ont the WONDERFUL GUESTBOOK OF CANDLEKEEP!!!! ---(((¤ElMo¤)))---

Well met traveler, and once again i have been graced by the grand confines of these hollowed walls. as i said before i really enjoy the sight especially the gallery. but above all i think you need to add modules to this sight. im sure that you can get people to submit their own modules for the forgotten realms. aside from being a tremendous help by cutting down the time it takes to get a session ready, its really cool to see the ideas of other dms like myself.

I, the Great Blue Lord am no stranger to the Realms and its sites on the internet. I have searched long and hard for a worthy house of lore. I have found it in Candlekeep. I am aware of the entrance fee of one great tome of knowledge, but I fear I don't have a worthy book with me. I must depart now, my companions await. When next I journey down the Swoed Coast, I shall return and pay my debt. I look forward to adding my small piece of lore to the great library of Candlekeep.

Hail and well met, fellow Travelers Upon my vast and varied Journeys, I recently visited the famous and legendary Candlekeep. It was my first Time that I came across this Place of many a Bard's Songs and splendid Tales, and I have to admit that the Rumours were true! How amazed have I been! Such Splendour! Such wondrous Power! Never have I seen a place of such knowledge, of such ancient lore! Unfortunately, I am momentarily trapped in an evil and demonic Place called Earth, but fiercely will I fight to escape that stinkin' Pit of grotesque inhabitants and otherwordly Torture, to return again to the Realms, where I truly belong ... and on my way, I am sure to cross again the path that leads to candlekeep ... Until swords meet again!

Well, well ,well it's been a long time that I sign this guestbook and now I want to inform you that Voltar told to me a site greater than this one. Why? Because this site have MAPS MAPS MAPS of all ABEIR-TORIL and this make Candlekeep lower. If only this site could be minus commercial, a little bit independant of TSR, the company. Yes Candlekeep have some interressing maps, but not for a experimented dungeon master and thats why I complain, for the lack of innovation on this site. And more, maps of cities. The book name ADVENTURES IN FORGOTTEN REALMS is out of print. And I didnt see any site who have the great idea to scan the maps of the cities of the Mitan to give at us, the fanatics of ADD, the maps who can help our quest and the DM in creating a quest for his players hungry of adventures. Yep, you will say: hey ADD at his start was a game about imagination and creativity, but now, what ADD become is a HUGE LIBRARY OF INFORMATIONS AND A BIG BUSINNESS FOR TSR. And ADD addicted had no choice to get in this track, its the evolution of this game and no one could and not will change. I'm not depress, only tired of this, I'm aged, and I look through the past and the present to learn the future. On this great words I leave you my e-mail if you want to injure me or to bring your participation, opinion or support on this subject and on LA RESISTANCE. Thats it the GREAT ElMo is leaving CANDLEKEEP (just for the guestbook) see ya!!!!!!! ---(((¤ElMo¤)))---

Thanks ¤V@lt0r¤ for your support, I totally agree with you that the pression that we occur to the webmaster will sure have some effects. LIKE A STUPID BULLSHIT OF MONSTROUS COMPENDIUM WITH IMAGES. Oh and by the way, Wow, Webmaster you've done a site of dungeon that a MD always wanted EXCEPT FOR THE DUMBASS MONSTROUS COMPENDIUM. Scuze for my agressivity but I can't resist to tell you (in english if you had'nt see) that you will be the greatest site of the WWW of dungeon if you just do a little effort to make a WONDERFUL MONSTRUOUS COMPENDIUM OF THE MONSTERS IN FORGOTTEN REALMS. So thats it, I think I'm defrusted (does this word exist in english?) and I all said what I think for a eperimented ( about 10 years ) dungeon master. To the webmaster: don't take this opinion personnaly, I'm serious but not at this point. AND IF AN OTHER GUY TELL ME THAT I'M POINTY, I WILL COME BACK WITH AN EXTRAORDINARY FORCE WHO COME FROM AO, THE GOD OF THE GOD.

Message from Candlekeep - ElMo - I cant understand what youre talkin' about here, or indeed the numerous other messages youve left, as im sure 90% of site visitors cant either, please write in English! Thanks

Altough I'm not a Realm's DM myself. I like it. I've notified "our" DM of the site, and added a character to your web-site.

I've also taken the liberty to make a link to your page on my own (in comparison) feeble web site:  The Soulwarden's Webpages

This site needs quite a bit of work; the red text on the black and grey background is really hard on the eyes and makes any site look sh**y. Try using a plain black background instead. Don't ruin our f***ing eyes with s**t like this. Thanks. Sundance the Elf

I want to complement the person who submitted Kaishalinne Firevine! She has a neat history; good reading for one and all. I'm curious to know if the saga of her birth in the lower planes and eventual rescue was role played or simply historic. Either way, a great tale.

My youngest student spoke often of a realm made only of light, energy numbers & codes. Well, after he was tortured & used for fireball target practice, several of my students swore this realm, ruled by a being called Computer, was real; boy was my face red!!! Seriously though I have been at the helm of an ongoing campaign (27 years) set in a world of my own design & later transplanted to the Forgotten Realms. I don't get to play more than 4-5 times a year, mostly teaching younger players, but at least once a year our original core group, now named "The Five", ride forth again. (Yeah, I know the name is lame, but after 27 realtime years, there is not much we do not own or have a hand in, hence no need for fancy titles) I like the site and when a fossil like me has access again to the internet I'll be sure to visit.

Thurble of Roaky Arch-Mage of the Ninth Circle PS: My ancient texts include Chainmail, the Dave Hargroves Grimoires & even the original rules for Metamorphisis Alpha (great for goof cross over campaigns).

As a fellow fictional character, I felt I had to respond to Nelik Aldenhire's boast a few postings back. Don't worry, he can't really "wipe the floor" with the other characters posted here. It would be more likely, of course, if he wasn't so dead. Sorry, Nelik, but it's true. Just...get over it, or something. If anyone would like to "Wipe the floor" with us, I suggest using Faceus Tyrannus. He's pretty old, and it would take a while for him to wrestle you off as you cleaned your floor.

WELL, i HEAR THAT MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ME, WELL, THE STORY HOLDS THAT AT THE CURRENT SITUATION i HAVE HAD TO GIVE MY COMPUTER OUT TO A CERTAIN SISTER WHO HAS AS OF YET TO GRADUATE COLLEGE. SO I BORROW A COMPUTER WHENEVER I CAN TO BROWSE. I AM HONORED THAT YOU FIND JEIROTH INTERESTING ENOUGH TO BE INCLUDED AMONGST YOURE STORIES. I WILL SOON SEND ANOTHER PIECE OF THE CHRONICLE TO THIS SITE AND WITH IT ANOTHER PIECE YOU ALL MIGHT FIND ENTERTAINING. IT IS TITLED THE BOOK OF THE CATHSHEE AND IT DETAILS THE SECRETS OF THE CATHSHEE BLADESONG STYLE INCLUDING A STORY (ONE OF MANY)ON THE HISTORY OF BLADESINGING! MIND YOU JEIROTH IS STILL A BIT SECRETIVE ON REVEALING ALL BUT SUFFICE IT TO SAY THAT THE TRUE BOOK IS STILL IN HIS POSSESSION. AS FOR JEIROTH, HE IS QUITE ALIVE AND WOE BE IT TO LOLTH FOR HE COMES BRINGING SPELLS AND POWER NOT SEEN SINCE THE FALL OF MYTH DRANNOR.

Really good site with MANY info on TSR-FR products. Although I can not say that there are meny netbooks and stuff, I will note that the info on the products(novels/supplaments/etc) are unique. Perhaps TSR should "copy" some ideas. It is really sad to see privately-owned sites much better than TSR official site. Perhaps TSR should hire some serious Web Designers.

Impressd, I was, cause all info is UPDATED and accurate.

Congrats Guys!

Well met! You have done fairly well in so short a time to get this many hits. My site has been up for few months now and I only have about 50. :) You did recieve abit publicity over the whole candlekeep issue, so I'm glad to see it wasn't all bad for you. May I suggest that you set the wrap tag on this text area to virtual though? It is much nicer to use then. CullA... http://www.speedwell.com.au/kain/

Great site, I LOVE the design! Too bad you had to remove the pics. But, do you where I can find a pic of the NPC from Waterdeep Elaith Craulnober, the one from the Villains Lorebook or Realms of Infamy? I really need it, as well as a pic of Cyric. I could get one, but I don't have a scanner. Please email me, if you have that. I checked tons of websites and found nothing. Thanks, -Morri-

I popped in intending to simply to test links on the ROTA imagemap, but was drawn in by your bard. (Your music loads very quickly, and yet has an excellent medieval sound.)
