****Propping his axe up on the chair beside of his own, his road worn and muddy boots still dripping black mud he gazes around suspiciously.Looking at the scrawny middle aged serving maiden bustling over he grunts and says "Whatever ye have cheap fer me gullett an' yer most potent ale er mead..." The maiden looks at him a moment, says nothing and nods before walking briskly toward the kitchen.Taking a more careful observation of his surroundings he notices more than one pair of eyes gazing in his direction.Standing and stomping his boots on the floor to clean more of the mud from them he inquires to the room "What's wrong with ye's? Ain't none o' ye's ever seened a "real" adventurer before?" With a boisterous chuckle and an overflowing foam topped mug of ale suddenly before him he drinks deep, burps deeper and offers everyone a foam filled mustache raised in absolute mirth.

Greetings to you Boulder, and welcome to Candlekeep.

Here you will find many curious questions pertaining to the extensive Realmslore of the FR setting. As well, you will also discover many fantastic answers -- some of which have even been generously provided by the Great Sages of the Realms themselves.

So please, take a look around. If you feel the need to ask a question, or to merely discuss some element of the Realmslore, then simply find the appropriate place or shelf within the library and open a scroll. One of our many knowledgeable scribes, the dedicated staff of Candlekeep, or even a visitor to these halls, will always be happy to assist you in learning more about the Realms.

See you in the library.

Welcome to Candlekeep!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!

As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!

Hi Boulder and welcome Lol, I've only just read this and wondered if you had been yelling out for service in the inn and I hadn't heard you.
