Very true Bookwyrm and I agree Italian pizzas are not near as greasy. As of right now I don't have much choice of what kind we get, usually Round Table, because my dad gets it. After I move out, in 3 weeks! yay! , then I'll go get some real Italian pizza with my girlfriend I don't like plain cheese though I like combinations with all kinds of stuff on them especially meats Fresh basil does sound good though I'll have to try that.

Oh, no, hardly. This is just the juice that was on their hands. It was found by accident, like most "tricks of the trade." Often independantly, as well. Eat a nice, juicy apple (oranges are best, but they weren't in European diets until after the Reconquista), and the juice stays on your hands. Wipe your forehead, and it's there as well. Do it before going into battle, and you're less likely to drop your sword or get sweat in your eyes. Of course, for the latter, a tied bit of cloth (the origin of the sweat-bands in today's sports) does just as well, especially if wetted first.

Drinks can vary from the all mighty Jolt Cola (when it can be found)to something as simple as homebrewed tea. Food can be just about anything now that we are older and now how to burn a real good steak. To answer why pizza is the main staple of so many gamers diet, well in the beginning of D&D, pizza was the only thing deliverd...later on Chinese food started to get delivered follow by chicken, but for most if not all of the 1980's it was Pizza.

I hope Candlekeep continues to be the friendly forum of fellow Realms-lovers that it has always been, as we all go through this together. If you don’t want to move to the “new” Realms, that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with either you or the “old” Realms. Goodness knows Candlekeep, and the hearts of its scribes, are both big enough to accommodate both. If we want them to be.
(Strikes dramatic pose, raises sword to gleam in the sunset, and hopes breeches won’t fall down.)
Enough for now. The Realms lives! I have spoken! Ale and light wines half price, served by a smiling Storm Silverhand fetchingly clad in thigh-high boots and naught else! Ahem . .

love to all,

personally, I prefer things like hard candy or something that doesn't melt and make your fingers greasy and just water or juice to drink, prefferably juice in a bottle so I can lid it, b/c I'm forever knocking things over, and well... as I still rely on paper maps and so forth right now for gaming, I prefer not to cover them in "gunk" stains that detract from the hard work sunk into making those maps..

"Jolt Cola" . . . the staple of any computer programmer's diet, or at least, that's what the Sage likes to say .

Actually, I've always thought of black moss tea as being like coffee. Lots of caffine, but they stink and taste awful.

(Yes, I know I'm going to be slammed by Starbuck's-lovers . . . . )

*handcuffs self to Starbucks*
What? Pizza? Oh.
I'll go get some.
*clink*
Oh, #$%^&%^!

Hmm, maybe we could help Lady Kazandra by listing what we like about the taste of pizza?
For me, it's all about the crunchy onions, tomato sauce, and crust.

Well, I could always tell you all how I make my pizzas. That would tell you just what I like.

And it doesn't include onions. Nothing against them -- they're good on other things. I just don't like my pizza adulterated by toppings.
