| I have been re-reading everything about Cale, in preparation for the December 2 release date of Shadowrealm. Should finish up on Shadowbred tonight and move on to Shadowstorm. |

| Still sitting on 54 FR novels read, but have 20 more unread ones on my shelves. Next up for me is either The Pirate King or Shield of the Weeping Ghost, or perhaps the AlabasterStaff... |

| Finished Spellfire and moved on to Crown of Fire. Enjoyed Spellfire and am glad I read The Knights of Myth Drannor trilogy first. It helped to fill in some blanks. |

I'm currently re-reading the "Twilight Giants" trilogy while I'm waiting for Ed's The Sword Never Sleeps to arrive. I'm not sure why I picked these books for re-reading. Maybe I was in the mood for some Denning-styled Realms fiction.

I'm so far behind in my Realms reading it's not even funny.
For once, though, I'm glad, because I can look forward to plenty more stories to read that I haven't gotten to for years to come.
Just finished re-reading the Everis Cale novels (the first time I EVER re-read something within a year of my first reading), and I'm re-reading Master of the Five Magics for the third time ATM (which isn't a Realms novel, nore even WotC/D&D, but excellent none the less). |

Just finished Black Wolf by Gross and I was impressed. I think that Gross's writing style fits in rather well with the other Sembia novels and I can't wait to read more of his work.
I've recently become a HUGE fan of Kemp's and Erevis Cale. I've read the first two books of the Twilight War, but I need to get the Erevis Cale Trilogy. I think I'm going to have to order it . |
Anyone who likes to read something that's really dark and gritty and completely awesome ought to read The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks. You can check out a little taste at www.BrentWeeks.com I should probably warn you, though, that it is definitely not PG-13 :-D
He also started a new Trilogy with Black Prism, which may even surpass the Night Angel Trilogy in its awesomeness.

I agree. I loved Gross's books. If you truly enjoy his stuff be sure not to miss Mistress of the Night. It takes place after the Sembia series and features Feena from Black Wolf. Don't expect any Tal sightings in the book though. |

| I finished the Empires trilogy, thought it was quite good, particularly Crusade, but Lowder always delivers. I'm about to wrap up Murder in Cormyr; not bad, once you get used to the silly first person narrative it's a decent enough mystery. Also finishing up Mistshore, I really loved this one, Jaleigh is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Picked up The Fractured Sky and Shadowrealm today, can't wait to dig in. |

I just picked up The Sword Never Sleeps and Ed's first Falconfar novel, Dark Lord. |

I am done reading Son of Thunder - and to those who have not read it yet, I highly recommend it. That novel is filthy rich in realmslore and is an excellent read. It does NOT dissapoint!! Time to start Neversfall. |

| I'm actually not reading too many of the new ones lately. Not too many of them look interesting and there are still a lot of old ones I want to read, so I am pursuing those more. The only newer series I am following are the Drizzt books, and I will eventually read the Knights of Myth Drannor. |
