I finished Shield of Weeping Ghosts the other day, which was a VERY good novel. Now I am done all the Citadels novels and will tackle the rest of the Dungeons, starting with The Howling Delve.

Yes, truly amazing book, I just finished re-reading it. The part in the Adumbral Calyx is the perfect "mind-movie"! Absolutely amazing!

Finished with Red Magic last night. I thought it was a pretty solid book. There were a few events that just seemed thrown in for word count without great effect. Other than that I enjoyed it even though I don't have a whole lot of interest in Thay.

Started The Ring of Winter today, which I'm excited about.

Heh. I've not read Ring of Winter in a long while. Maybe it's time for a re-read, I think.

Ah yes, Artus Cimber kicks ass.

I'm not reading FR at the moment, I am still in Ravenloft.

I've been going back and forth -- an FR book or trilogy, then 3 or 5 non-FR books. Literally half of my paperbacks are TSR/WotC, which sometimes makes it difficult to get away from them.

I'm off FR books for the time being. Until my copy of Downshadow arrives.

Right now, I'm working through "The Champions" series for DRAGONLANCE.

I've seen at least one in-print reference to a Realms character having a Van Dyke. It's a bit of an anachronism, I think, but I regard it as being something translated to our language. It's a bit of a pat explanation, but it's enough to keep me from sweating it.

Aye. No worries friend Erik. I'll note, though, that I was actually referring to the arrival of my copy of Downshadow at my local book store. See my latest email to you for details.

That's why it was an indirect reminder. I saw you saying you were still waiting on a delivery, and I went "ding! I meant to do that."

Very welcome. It's well deserved.

Come hang out in the Book Club! I keep coming around to answer questions, but it seems I sculpted everything so clearly that there aren't questions! Either that, or people just keep reading and don't stop to post in the Book Club.

Finished off The Ring of Winter. It was excellent as advertised. I love the way Lowder through in little bits of lore all over the place from other books. I also love that it was a brand new location for me. It was a welcome change from Waterdeep, Cormyr, and the Dales.

Speaking of Waterdeep, I also flew through Elfsong in just a couple of days. Elaine Cunningham, once again, knocked it out of the park. I'm about 130 pages into Silver Shadows now and the fun just rolls on and on...

I just finished re-reading everything with Everis Cale again, Halls of Stormweather, Shadow's Witness, Cale Trilogy, Shadowwar trilogy.

Now I have to decide if I start Blackstaff or the Last Mythal trilogy.

I know that it is not a novel per se, but I just picked up Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast yesterday at my local used book store. It is quite the enjoyable read so far. Makes me want to hunt down the other Volo's Guides in print form. They also had 2 (I think that means both) Elminster's Ecologies; I think I will probably grab them after I get paid (and if they are still there).
