All right. Finished Azure Bonds yesterday and now I have started reading The Wyvern's Spur at work and reading the 1E/2E adventure Curse of the Azure bonds at home.
Done both of these now. The Wyvern's Spur was excellent. I think I can adapt Curse to 4E fairly easily (which I will do with Ruins of Adventure as well I think). Song of the Saurials I am 100 pages or so in it and enjoying
And Song of the Saurials was....AWESOME...now when I get a chance (which is actually hard at this time of year) I am enjoying Masquerades.
nic elittle twist at the end of that. |

| I have just finished All Shadows Fled for the first time. It was wonderful to be spending time with the Chosen (the Seven Sisters in particular... and Sylune and Storm in the most particular). Not least because I am now aware of how fleeting these moments I share with them are now likely to be. |

| I've picked up the new omnibus of The Return of the Archwizards, and at about halfway through The Summoning, and while Galaeron is far from my favourite protagonist, 'tis a most enjoyable read. |

| I've just finished City of Torment (better than Plague of Spells but Bruce still struggles to write dialogue) and will finish Swordmage tonight on my exercise bike. After that I think I will tackle the Haunted Lands trilogy. |

To be fair though, some authors (like Ed) focus just as much on minor characters as the major characters. |

It does take a bit of getting used to, but I've come to love it. Among other things, it helps show just how much everything in the Realms causes something else.
Of course, it also means that we get to see a lot of the Zhents, which I really like as well. |

So long as you accept that it's not an entirely accurate representation of Fistandantilus, you'll be fine.

Reading that book was for me like reading the original Moonshae trilogy: I didn't enjoy it, but I didn't hate it, either. It utterly failed to interest me. A solid "eh". |

Ah, one of my favourites among the RAVENLOFT series. Follows on from Knight of the Black Rose and concludes Soth's adventures in the Demiplane of Dread rather nicely, I think. |

Pretty much like that. Not a pain to read, but not something to go out of my way to pick up and continue.
I can easily accept the innacuracy of its representation of Fistandantilus due to it being my first Dragonlance novel that I read cover to cover (I tried the Twins trilogy when I was 12 or 13 but I wasn't an avid reader at the time so I had only gotten one and a half chapters in lol)...so my knowledge of things Dragonlance is severely limited

I love how thsi series either gets a rave review or a blah...not much in between!
For me I have read it several times and consider it a foundation block of realms novels. Now the druidhome trilogy on the other hand.....not even a solid "eh" from me! |

Well, the various early representations of Fistandantilus have always been somewhat murky. Fortunately, later portrayals of the character have helped to clarify aspects of both his past and his intimate relationship with Raistlin. |

And I will always believe that after he used the bloodstone, Raistlin came out on top and ole F is long gone..... |
