I think that describes one of its greatest qualities very well! And I liked Shadowstorm best actually in this trilogy. The scene in the Abdumbral Calyx is simply without words! |

Just finished Elaine's Thornhold.
What an excellent read! In terms of realms flavor there is just nothing like her! |

Hard to dispute, but Kate Novak and Jeff Grubb have their own tasty spice as well |

| Finished Swordmage. Thank you Mr. Baker. Liked it very much. Good to read a book where the characters are the main focus. Not alot dealing with spellscars or super critters. Great book. Closed that one, set it down and started the next. Great so far. |

I just finished El Must Die, which left me relatively satisfied. I also finished Gauntlgrym. Best Drizzt book since god knows when.. since before paths of darkness probably. Although strictly speaking this is a Bruenor book, not a Drizzt book. I highly recommend it. |

I'm gonna go ahead and assume you've read Plague of Spells also Alisttair. I'm just curious if the first two books was to your liking? I'm considering buying them on my next shopping round, just havent heard much about them yet.
EDIT: Nevermind. I scrolled up and noticed your entry regarding Plague of Spells. I am, however, still curious about City of Torment :) |

I am now basing this on all three novels. Key of Stars was a fantabulastic book 3 of this trilogy. Great characters and great story. Was all too easy to get through the three books, cause I was hooked.
Oh and since I finished Key of Stars on friday, I read book 3 of the Stone of Tymora by RA and Geno Salvatore, the Sentinels over the weekend. Let's just say there is a nice twist in there (I love stories with twists). |

I'm revisiting Harry Potter, myself, but I'm thinking of rereading Cormyr, soon. I want to see how viable one of my evil ideas is: a half-dragon descended from Thauglor on one side and Azoun IV on the other. |

NICE idea, Wooly! (If I were you, I'd whisper this in Ed's direction, in his thread. I bet he's toyed with similar ideas, and may have something useful to say . . .) BB |

Pretty much. I've been reading more than usual in my spare time lately. All I got left at home to read is: The Fall of Highwatch Best of the Realms 3 Pool of Radiance - Ruins of Myth Drannor The Captive Flame Whisper of Venom Swords of Eveningstar Swords of Dragonfire The Sword Never Sleeps
Hand of the Hunter I will buy ASAP when Chapters will have it (out this month I believe) Elminster Must Die I asked for xmas
I own every published realms novels (other than the last two above) and have read them all other than what is listed above. Once I'm up to date, I will read what I buy as I buy it and re-read my favs (or the re-published specials I bought - such as Annotated Elminster). |

| Pretty impressive! So many novels I still have to read... and re-read of course. The really good ones to re-read cannot wait for me to finish all the unread ones... |
