Ahhh, yet more new scrolls and tomes for thee to feast thine eyes upon Many thanks to those who have submitted their work for this site update. With this update, comes the latest volume of the Candlekeep Compendium.


1) The Candlekeep Compendium - Volume III is released! The latest tome of Realmslore, produced at Candlekeep is now available. Featuring excellent articles of Realmslore penned by some of our resident scribes, there should be something for everyone. Many hours of work have gone into producing this collection, we hope you enjoy the wealth of information within.

2) Added ' The Twilight War Trilogy', by Paul S Kemp, to the Novels page, and information pages for Shadowbred, Shadowstorm and Shadowrealm and The Howling Delve (book 3 of The Dungeons series).

3) Added new trilogy by Thomas M Reid and Mysteries of the Moonsea product to 'upcoming products \ teaser' list on FR 2005 catalog page.

4) Updated product information pages for The City of Splendors: A Waterdeep Novel, Master of Chains and Queen of the Depths.

5) A great honor to Candlekeep was given by Ed Greenwood and Elaine Cunningham in the City of Splendors novel, in the form of a dedication, which can be viewed from both the novel page and the Awards and Reviews section.

6) Added April - June 2005 collated posts for part 6 of So Saith Ed - responses from Ed Greenwood, and included 2004 and 2005 Indices.

7) An overview and map of the town of Eveningstar, by Nicholas Burke -
located in the Traveler's Notebooks section.

8) Excellent variant rules for using Damage by Body Part, by Nicholas Burke.

9) A study of Three Gems of the Realms and their use as spell components, by Damian Naïlo.

10) The settlement of Excelsior Town , located in the Spine of the World, is presented and detailed by Damian Naïlo.

11) A large compendium, entitled Demon's Blood, featuring new Prestige Classes, Spells, Deities and other material for 3rd edition Forgotten Realms, by Alexander Hervlevsen, located in the Traveler's Notebooks section.

12) Added synopsis\credits page and download for a trailer for a new Forgotten Realms fan film, by Dustin Naegel, entitled The Dagger of Deliverance. Located in the Wondrous Treasures section.

13) Room descriptions and level 2 map update for Steve Allen's Rooms of Undermountain.

14) More NPC's from Steve Allen for level 2 of the Rooms of Undermountain: 'Ales Venetharen of Shar', 'Belecith Damargann', 'Coradaira of Mirabar' and 'Cordale Hadrazergith of Tassledale', 'Ferris Unkos', 'Frecagold Deepdale of Mirabar', 'Gaerla Shadelocks', 'Léodbrand Banmyr', 'Matlor Orakelerl of Archendale', 'Orauranos Darksilver', 'Rowaran Ignikosnos', 'Rowayara of Auril', 'Sayla Odiir Sharpfangs', 'Selatyr Damarayth of Tasseldale', 'Tamara Faladuir Shiftingsands', 'Tirsol Kyrazarira Sharpknife', 'Unmyr Hagalburr of Shar', 'Venetharen Unnorino', 'Zelgann Deepglade of Mirabar' and 'Zelhan Igniwug of Waterdeep'.

17) Added download links for 'Master of Chains' screensaver, 'Queen of the Depths' desktop wallpaper and both the screensaver and wallpaper of 'The City of Splendors', in the Promotional Material section.

18) Updated Moonshine's Journals with more chapters. Located in the Campaign Logs section.

19) Included various tidbits of Realmslore in the Bard's Rumors section: Lore from the Sages.

20) Added a Code of Conduct to the Candlekeep Forums. This also contains guidelines on how to use various forum functions.
