In the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, there are several NPC's that have levels in "Exp". I can't find what class this is... Any ideas out there?

If I remember right, starting in 3rd edition, commoners were able to get some sorts of levels, such as (EXP) expert in a craft or certain skill/ occupation. Correct me if I am wrong, but then please refer to my signature  , wasn't there an issue in the past with encountering common folk of the realms, and them only having like 1 HP. I think the change also helped in establishing different qualities for different goods, depending on who you purchased them from. |

| See page 7 of the FRCS for a listing of the class abbreviations, and note that they've been dropped nearly completely in 3.5, and definitely completely with the new NPC stat block. |
