Has anyone else had an issue with this character, or his half golemness( is that a word ). I see an outbreak of 1/2 golems coming about, almost like the epidemic of Drow rangers from a few years back. I don't know, I just had a hard time with this one. |

I think it's a nifty concept... And, unlike Drizzt, Dorn isn't some exile from a evil but cool race, who has incredible fighting skills. Therefore, I don't see an epidemic of half-golems happening any time soon. |

that's a load off wooly, just think if it happened and we had a bunch of 1/2 golems having offspring, there would be a whole new debate and the need for a new sourcebook on what to call it, father 1/2 golem, mother human = human or 1/2 golem + golem = golem. Just in case it is a question, I'm kidding

If anyone really wants to play something like a half golem, I would encourage them to look into the Warforged from Eberron setting.

I can't agree with this one. The two are totally separate beasts. One is a living being with inanimate material bolted on, the other is inanimate material that has been given life. |

screrar relax. I don't plan on having a half-golem ninja, monk, fighter! I just wanted to the know Level adjustment. Another thing everyone who has played in some way models there character after someone they have read about, seen in a movie or maybe even known. These "people" may inspire us or we feel a connection with or we might just say damn that is a cool character I want my character to be like that. It doesn't matter what character people play as long as the roleplaying is original. I happen to enjoy underdark settings, that doesn't mean I want a drow ranger that has turned to good or some hell bent prietess wanting to become the Chosen of lolth. I enjoy playing or DMing. So if my wanting to know the level adjustment of a half-golem for gaming purposes rubs you the wrong way don't respond to the post. I post here to get advice with game problems or discuss novels. I have been gone in Iraq for a year so if I am a little behind or not up to date on things I like to ask around and get up to speed. To those who gave helpful advice thanks. |

The half-golem LA is same as the CR bonus in MMII I think. Which is +3 added over the characthers normal CR. |

no worries my friend and I did not mean cause an issue or offend you in any way. Just like you, my own opinion. Additionally I was in the Army for 12 years. Welcome back bro. |
