Most religions start with a bunch of crazy people with an idea. ;) |
Planescape Fanatic
"Fiends and Undead are the peanut butter and jelly of evil." - Me "That attitude should be stomped on, whenever and wherever it's encountered, because it makes people holding such views bad citizens, not just bad roleplayers (considering D&D was structured as a 'forced cooperation' game, and although successive editions are pointing it more and more towards a me-first, min-max game, the drift away from 'we all need each other to succeed' will at some point make it 'no longer' D&D)." - ED GREENWOOD |

Much like a scientific idea.
A religion is about faith and serving peoples spiritual needs; the question of real/unreal is mainly of importance to those outside of the faith. |

Quite correct, everyone did think Jesus was mad when he started Christianity.
So go ahead and start your own religion, just watch out for those Evangelicals |

The people who assemble national censuses are civil servants working for politicians. They don't give a damn whether an existent political entity used to be fictional. |

Jedi is a nice religion... fits the bill...epic struggle of good vs evil, got people performing miracles, son and father who save the world, a nice afterlife if you were a good person... it's got everything a religion needs. |

Crazy people... Our tabletop group often 'pray' to She of Twenty Faces when making d20 rolls. Does that count? |
