           	| If you have one that is...then what is your favorite city and why?

 Mine would have to be none other than Baldurs Gate. No, not because games are centered around it, but because if I lived in Faerun, then i could see myself living there. An active harbor right on the Sword Coast in between Calamshan and the North. An active place that isnt too big but big enough. This just always seemed to be my favorite city.

                      | Bookwyrm hands Zaknafein an old scroll, then a much older one. He then discreetly directs Zaknafein to the scrying room where he can search for such scrolls himself, thus avoding the wrath of a certain bearded old librarian. |

                      | The Sage grumbled as he realised that the same scrolls Bookwyrm handed to Zaknafein contained no comments of his own. He places the collection of dusty tomes he had been reading on the floor next to his armchair, and prepares to quickly add a few lines to this new scroll that has come to his attention.
 Zaknafein, since I made no comments of these scrolls I will now take the opportunity to tell you of my favorite city - Myth Drannor.

 It became my favorite locale of the Realms, mainly due to the many pages of lore and magic surrounding this greatest of all the Elven cities, and also because of the fact that it is tied intimately to my favorite race of the Realms - the Elves.

 Good learning...

 ::grumble, grumble::
 My "wrath", dear Bookwyrm?
  Why surely that would be an overstatement of my reactions
 That said, my thanks for locating such old scrolls and directing our fellow Scribe to the Scrying Room..... youll have me out of a job soon

                      | Never! [Bookwyrm hides the job application he was filling out in a drawer of his desk.] I'd never dream of it!
 Seriously, I just caught it soonest. If I hadn't, you or Zemd would have.

                      | I agree with Sage of Perth that Myth Drannor is fascinating, but my favourite city is an undetailed one that awaits fleshing out: Delimbiyran, capital of Phalorm "the Realm of Three Crowns" and later the Kingdom of Man (which assumed the city's name as its realm name). Maybe one day ...

                      | Ah, the Kingdom of Man.
 I don't think there was any background information on this realm at all, other than what was hinted at in Grand Tour of the Realms.

 George, maybe you would consider detailing some history of this 'Delimbiyran' here at Candlekeep, when you 'flesh-it-out', as you say.

 I would really like to read it.

 May your learning be free and unfettered

                      | To some extent, that has already been done - the info is sitting in Eric Boyd's hard drive. An unpublished Dragon article IIRC. I think he still has hopes of getting it published so I don't think he'll be willing to release it on the wider web community. Maybe one day ...
