17-DEC-2002 1) Added product information page for book 2 and 3 of the 'Rogues Series': The Crimson Gold and The Alabaster Staff and for the Neverwinter Nights CRPG expansion: Shadows of Undrentide.
 2)Two new campaign journals for Play-by-Email campaigns run by J P Hazelhoff. The Silver Marches Campaign and Twilight Dawn can be found in the Campaign Logs section on the site.
3) Excellent new piece of fiction in the Campaign Logs section: Villain is a four-chapter story written by Heath Harper.
4) A new entry to the The Shrine of Milil: an excellent poem by Calumn Hamilton entitled The End of an Age.
5) Download the "Calendar of Harptos" spreadsheet by J P Hazelhoff. This useful calendar\planner, in Excel format, can be found in the Computer software section of Wondrous Treasures.
6) Updated product information page for The Sorcerer novel and Races of Faerun.
7) The Neverwinter Nights novel anthology has been officially cancelled by WotC. The product information page has now been updated and moved to the Vaporware section of Tethtoril's Bookshelf.
8) A new character enters the Hall of Heroes: "Nighteyes" Alerian.
9) Download for an excellent 3rd Edition D&D Character Sheet by Joonas Hirvonen in the Miscellaneous section of Wondrous Treasures.
10) Added links to the 'Return of the Archwizards' and 'Insurrection' Desktop Wallpaper downloads on the Wizards site to the Promotional Material section.
11) Moved the More Gods project to the 'Inactive Projects' area of the FR-Zone Projects page.
21-NOV-2002 1) Paul S Kemp, author of Shadows Witness has given Candlekeep an interview on himself and his novels. This is the first of a series of upcoming interviews on the new Interviews Index Page in Tethtoril's Bookshelf.
2) Updated product information page for Races of Faerun to include more info and cover art, and also Realms of Shadow, The Thousand Orcs, Dissolution, Sands of the Soul, Lord of Stormweather and Icewind Dale II CRPG.
3) Added new product information page for books 2 and 3 of the Erevis Cale Trilogy: Dawn of Night and Midnight's Mask and for the Icewind Dale II official Strategy Guide.
4) The Sembia novel Pride of the Lion has been cancelled from the series, this has now been moved to the Vaporware section. You can read more about his on this forum topic.
5) Updated the 2003 catalog and added a new Upcoming Product Teasers section to list products which have not been given release months or are released in future years.
6) Review by 'Archmage George' of Baldurs Gate CRPG.
05-NOV-2002 1) A new section within Travelers Notebooks in Alaundo's Library: The Shrine of Milil section is to contain fan-created poems, songs and other works dedicated to the deity of bards, entertainers and poets. check out the first amazing 17 entries of great talent, submitted by Michael Morris and Adriaan.
2) More characters enter the Hall of Heroes: Nellafein Deleal, Lilianth Lyr'tyrl'tha, Ralfeign and Raulph Bloodhorn.
3)Updated product information pages for Tangled Webs and Windwalker (to include new 2003 cover art) and The Bloodstone Wars.
 4)Added list and product information on the Novels page, for future novels by Thomas M Reid, entitled: "The Scions of Arrabar Trilogy": The Sapphire Crescent, The Ruby Guardian, and The Emerald Scepter. Not much information is currently available other than author and release date and location. Also The Best of the Realms, Book I due for release next year. Visit the voting form on the Wizards site to select which short stories you would like included in this collection.
5) Added products in the Other RPG Material area on the Products page to include products which are not part of the Forgotten Realms product line but contain actual Forgotten Realms material or links. Four products added: Epic Level Handbook (core D&D), Realmspace (Spelljammer), The Forgotten Terror (Ravenloft) and TSR Jam 1999 (AD&D).
6) Reviews by 'Dan' of Dissolution, Tangled Webs and The Parched Sea and a review of Crown of Fire by 'Silver Huntress'.
7) More D&D humor by Aaron Barrett on the Jokes page in Alaundo's Library.
8) New lore and locale for the Fellaren-Krae project, Cries of the Sewer and and Salzar's Emporium by Sean Francos.
9) Added links to The Thousand Orcs Desktop Wallpaper and Screensaver downloads, and the Insurrection Screensaver in the Promotional Material section.
10) Added link on the Faiths and Pantheons page for the 'Epic Insights' article on the Wizards site.
11) Added a new sub-forum on the Candlekeep Forums: "Well Met, and Welcome" has been created mainly for new members to the forums as a location to post a greeting message to other members and be welcomed into the chambers of lore!
19-SEP-2002 1) Upgraded the Candlekeep forum. Also as part of this upgrade we have added the ability to add an "avatar" to your member profile. This will associate a character portrait to your member name which will appear in both your profile and also in any posts you make, past and present. We hope you enjoy this extra personalised feature of the forums. If you have not already done so, you can sign up for free to our forums - here, to join others in discussions of the Forgotten Realms.
18-SEP-2002 1) Added more product information pages for: Twilight Falling, The Black Bouquet and Races of Faerun. Not much information currently exists other than the author and release date.
2) Included the above products on the new 2003 FR Release schedule.
3)Updated the Forgotten Realms Bibliography PDF to contain 2003 titles given so far. This is likely to change at a later date once the titles have been confirmed and more have been given by Wizards of the Coast.
4) Updated the information page for the City of the Spider Queen minatures box to list minatures which are included in the box.
5) If you downloaded the FR Timeline Utility released on 16 September then please download this again, following a glitch found in the American date format conversion, which has now been corrected.
 6) Added a review by 'Rad' of the Shadows Witness novel. Do not read this if you havent yet read the novel as it contains spoilers. if you wish to enter your own review of this novel or any FR product then please go to The Scribes Desk. Other reviews can be found in the Reviews Index.

1) Ron Pearsall has been busy again, this time with two offerings: A D&D Monster Manual II Screensaver (featuring the music from Candlekeep) and an excellent Forgotten Realms Time Utility for providing a current Realms date conversion and a listing on historical Realms events based on the Dale-Reckoning date input by the user. Both are available for download in the Wondrous Treasures section.
2) More amazing new artwork in the Fan Art section of the 'Gallery of Faerun' by Julius Petilla - entitled Ravenna, Priest and Demon.
3) Updated the product information page for the City of the Spider Queen adventure module.
 4) Added brief product information pages for upcoming novels: Condemnation, Extinction, Annihilation, Resurrection, Windwalker, The Lone Drow and The Two Swords.
5) Added a new FR\D&D Humor page (linked from the 'Wondrous Treasures' page) for a bit of light humor. You may submit your own jokes to appear on this page, thanks to Aaron Barrett for the first entry.
 6) Added link on the Gallery page to the official 'City of the Spider Queen Art Gallery' on the WotC site.
04-SEP-2002 1) Upgraded the version of the Candlekeep Forum. This upgrade provides many extra features to enable easier naviagation and aid in posting topics. For all our current members, we have added extra fields to your member profile, including an MSN Messenger contact address, please update your profile if required.
03-SEP-2002 1) Excellent new artwork in the Fan Art section of the 'Gallery of Faerun' by Julius Petilla.
2) Added 3rd edition D&D statistics for Erevis Cale, the character from Shadows Witness and the Sembia novel series. Stats submitted by the author of this novel, Paul S Kemp.
3) Another excellent D&D utility from Ron Pearsall: Alignment Test is available for download in the Wondrous Treasures section. This utility calculates your alignment based on the answers given to numerous questions. (Based on the secxtion on the 'Hero Builders Guidebook' by WotC).
4) Updated product information pages for Silver Marches, Maztica Campaign Set, Blood of the Yakuza and Mad Monkey vs. the Dragon Claw.
5) New page in the Links section: Other World Portals briefly details old campaign settings by TSR\WotC as well as providing links to sites dedicated to the campaign.
6) Added download links for useful viewer-programs such as Winzip, Acrobat and Word Viewer, on the About page.
06-AUG-2002 1) A new section and feature for the site: The long-awaited Candlekeep Forum is now available to take your message postings. Discuss your favorite Realms topics, from campaign experiences and DMing to Realms product reviews and suggestions.
02-AUG-2002 1) Updated the official Forgotten Realms FAQ maintained by Tom Cullen.
17-JUL-2002 1) Updated the 'Census Chamber' for the 'Hall of Heroes' character submissions. There are now two seperate entry forms, one for 2nd Edition AD&D and one for 3rd Edition D&D.
2) Updated the product information page for The Wizardwar novel.
3) Added a post (in the 'Bards Rumors' section) from Sean K Reynolds to the REALMS-L mailing list, hinting at the future of the Forgotten Realms product line.

09-JUN-2002 1) Added a very useful document submitted by Steve Allen, The Rooms of Undermountain details many rooms and encounters for the Ruins of Undermountain. A excellent resource for DM's running this huge adventure setting. Located in the Travelers Notebooks and Adventures in Faerun sections.
2) Updated product information page for Heirs of Prophecy and Faiths and Pantheons.
3) Added new product information pages for Lord of Stormweather, Pride of the Lion, Hand of Fire and Insurrection novels, and for the City of the Spider Queen mega-adventure.
4) Updated the Forgotten Realms Bibliography, now fully updated with all Realms products and in PDF format. The bibliography is now available to download from the Home page as well as its usual location in Tethtoril's Bookshelf.
 5) Added links to the downloads on the Wizards site for Elminster in Hell Screensaver and Desktop Wallpaper in the Miscellaneous area of Tethtoril's Bookshelf.
